Employee Success – Congratulations to Roderick Crowder, Richland engineering professor, who received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) for his service as a member of the Tuning Oversight Council for Engineering during the 2010-11 academic year. Quoting the letter accompanying his certificate, “The expertise you shared during the tuning process provided valuable insights and information that resulted in an excellent product which will most certainly be instrumental in helping students realize their aspirations of earning degrees in engineering and in assisting institutions to achieve the Texas goals of ‘Closing the Gaps’ by 2015.” The letter was signed by David Gardner, THECB deputy commissioner, and the certificate was signed by both Raymund Paredes, THECB commissioner, and Dr. Gardner.
