Nkangoh receives scholarship to transfer to four-year institution

Student Success – Congratulations to Richland student Tabeth Nkangoh who has been selected to receive a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, one of 60 Phi Theta Kappa scholars selected this year to receive the award. The scholarship provides up to $30,000 per year and is intended to cover a significant share of Tabath’s educational expenses, including tuition, living expenses, books and fees for the final two to three years necessary for him to achieve his bachelor’s degree. Tabath has been accepted to the University of North Carolina — Chapel Hill and is awaiting final notification from Cornell University before making a final decision on his transfer university.
