Sustainable Community Building – Richland’s Energy/Sustainability Team continues its work in identifying and implementing additional ways to save energy and reduce Richland’s carbon footprint. Latest projects include installing additional bike racks on campus to address the increased number of students riding bicycles to campus. The team is also studying the feasibility and impact of installing solar panels on the roof tops of all Facilities Services utility carts to reduce electricity consumption.
