Student Success – Congratulations to Carl Hansson and Rebecca Simmons, Richland student athletes, who have been honored with 2011-12 NJCAA Academic Student Athlete Awards from a field of 60,000 competing student athletes of which 1,680 were honored. Carl, who played on Richland’s men’s soccer team, was honored with the Superior Academic Achievement distinction for his 3.8 GPA, and Rebecca, who played on Richland’s women’s soccer team, was honored with the Exemplary Academic Achievement distinction for her 3.75 GPA.
