Facilities hosts sister institutions for benchmarking symposium
Sustainable Community Building – Jerry Owens, Richland assistant director of facilities services, in collaboration with Tagos Group, the independent contractor directing the Oncor Educational Facilities Program, hosted Brookhaven, Cedar Valley and Mountain View facilities directors and assistant facilities directors in a benchmarking symposium on how Richland monitors energy efficiency, conducts conservation, and analyzes energy data. The symposium focused on the performance data and findings recently released in Oncor’s Energy Performance Benchmarking Report on Richland. Mr. Owens also conducted a tour of Richland’s recycling operation and the new central supply area.
