Quarterly report shows RLC’s sustainability efforts paying off

Sustainable Community Building – As part of Richland’s ongoing commitment to energy efficiency and a healthy environment through established recycling efforts, its most recent Quarterly Sustainability Report records the following equivalent savings to the environment and Richland’s carbon footprint: 1,414 trees; 341,050 kWh of energy; 582,281 gallons of water; 38,514 gallons of oil; 250 cubic yards of landfill; 4,991 lbs. of reduced air pollution; and 12,477 lbs. of CO2 absorbed by the saved trees.
