Sustainable Community Building – The Richland College Office of Student Life, in cooperation with the DISD American Indian Education Program Parent Advisory Committee, hosted its 14th Annual Richland College Pow Wow on Nov. 10, celebrating Native American Heritage Month. Activities included traditional Native American singing; drumming; gourd dancing; women’s and men’s costume competitions; crowning of 2012-2013 princesses and braves; arts and food.
