Student Success – Twenty-three Richland College Service Learning students spent their holiday participating in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service held at Brookhaven College on Jan. 21. The students contributed to a community challenge project to assist and provide service to a local Dallas County agency. LaQueta Wright, Richland College sociology professor, delivered the keynote address, and Kyle Barron, Richland College coordinator of community engagement programs, helped organize the Richland College team’s participation.
