Sustainable Community Building – Richland College successfully hosted a Dallas Water Utilities Lawn Care Seminar on Feb. 2 to help citizens learn from local experts the ways to maintain healthy lawns with less frequent watering and other earth-friendly ways to care for lawns. Gail Donaldson, former Richland College horticulture professor, current water conservation manager for the city of Allen, and turf and irrigation specialist, led the presentation and conducted a question-and-answer session with licensed irrigation specialists about minor sprinkler system repairs.
